    Yes, we are fully insured and bonded for your peace of mind. And all employees are covered by a workman's comp policy.
  • How do you ensure the safety of my home and cat?
    We use secure key lock boxes for home access, and all our sitters are background-checked and trained.
  • What should I do before the sitter arrives?
    Ensure all necessary supplies (food, litter, medications) are available and provide or update any specific instructions for your cat’s care within the Time To Pet portal.
  • How much do your services cost?

  • Will my cat(s) get the same person for every visit?
    No, Cat Nanny Jess staff members all work as a team. Everyone has the same skill set, years of veterinary experience and a great love of cats. This allows everyone to have a good work life balance and we believe that happy staff members make happy cats. Sharing jobs this way allows everyone to be at their best while visiting your cat(s) and makes sure no one is exhausted or overworked. We also firmly believe that even nervous cats greatly benefit from a little socializing and getting to know new people!
  • How do you handle emergencies?
    In case of an emergency, we will contact you immediately and, if necessary, take your cat to the vet.
  • What measures do you take to ensure the safety and well-being of cats under your care?
    Cat Nanny Jess prioritizes the safety and well-being of cats by employing trained professionals who follow strict care protocols. Our team ensures a secure environment, regular monitoring, and personalized attention to meet the unique needs of each cat. Additionally, we maintain open communication with pet owners to provide updates and address any concerns promptly.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    General Cancellations: More than 72 hours notice: No penalty. Less than 72 hours notice: 50% fee of projected services. Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve and Christmas Day: More than 14 days notice: No penalty. Less than 14 days notice: 50% fee of projected services. Less than 7 days notice: 100% fee of projected services.
  • Can I meet the sitter beforehand?
    Absolutely, we require a meet-and-greet session with your assigned sitter before your service begins. There is a $40 charge for this, however it includes a key lock box so you do not have to purchase one yourself.
  • Will you send updates while I’m away?
    Yes, we provide updates and photos at every single visit via the Time To Pet app to keep you informed and up to date on how your cat is doing.
  • What if my cat has special needs or requires medication?
    Our sitters are experienced in handling special needs and can administer medication as required. All of our sitters have years of veterinary clinic experience, and bring with them a wealth of knowledge about cats and their health.
  • How do you manage keys?
    Cat Nanny Jess uses key lock boxes because they provide convenience by allowing easy access without frequent key handovers and enhance security by being tamper-resistant, reducing the risk of lost or stolen keys. They also offer quick entry during emergencies or schedule changes, enable flexible access at varying times without needing to coordinate with the homeowner, ensure accountability with changeable codes for authorized access, and demonstrate a professional approach to security and reliability. This ensures sitters can provide reliable and secure service to all clients.
